SMS Terms & Conditions
The text-message program operated by MOS LLC.
Last updated: 2026-08-20
The program
MOS LLC, operating as Marduk, sends text messages to people who have opted in to receive them — patients and customers of the clinics and businesses that use our platform, and users of our own service.
Messages are sent on behalf of the clinic or business you are a patient or customer of, and are identified as such.
- Appointment messages — reminders, confirmations, changes and cancellations.
- Recall and follow-up — a reminder that you are due for a visit, a screening or a follow-up.
- Results-ready notifications — a notice that a result is available to view. No clinical result is ever sent in the body of a text message.
- Account and billing — invoice, payment and account notifications.
- Marketing — news, offers and service information, sent only to people who ticked the separate marketing box.
How you opt in
You opt in yourself — there is no opt-in by phone call, by paper form, or from any purchased or third-party list, and we never add a number on someone else's behalf.
The two ways to opt in are the public sign-up form at /sms on this website, and the notification settings inside your account if you hold one. On the web form you enter your own mobile number and tick a consent box; on the in-account path you must first confirm the number with a 6-digit code sent by SMS.
Consent is collected separately, and is never a condition of anything. Appointment/account messages and marketing messages are two separate, individually unchecked boxes. Ticking one does not tick the other. Neither is bundled with account signup, email signup, or acceptance of any terms, and neither is required to buy anything, book an appointment, or receive care.
- Appointment and account — Send me appointment and account text messages from Marduk — appointment reminders and confirmations, recall and follow-up reminders, results-ready notifications, and account or billing alerts.
- Marketing — Send me marketing text messages from Marduk — news, offers and information about services.
Frequency, rates and carriers
The terms of the program:
- Message frequency varies — typically a few messages a month, and more around a scheduled appointment.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out is handled automatically and takes effect immediately.
- Consent is not a condition of any purchase, of booking an appointment, or of receiving care.
- No mobile information is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Messages are automated and recurring.
How to stop, and how to get help
Both of these are handled automatically and take effect immediately:
- Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any message. We send one confirmation and then stop. Reply START to resume.
- Reply HELP to any message for support contact information.
- You can also write to j@chimaro.ai, or — if you hold an account — turn SMS off in Account → Settings → Notifications.
Privacy
No mobile information is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and SMS consent are used only to deliver the messages you asked for, and are shared only with the telecommunications provider that carries those messages on our behalf. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Supported carriers and questions
The program is supported on major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Questions about the program can be sent to j@chimaro.ai.
